To Write that is a Right All Right

On October 22, 2009 , the Center for Teaching and Learning-CTL conducted a workshop entitled “To Write that is a Right All Right”. This workshop was presented by Dr. Basma Jadayel Faour, Director of CTL. The workshop was attended by 45 faculty members who teach English courses at DU. The participants from FP and CAAS engaged in hands-on activities where they applied the various steps of the writing process. They also used the 6+1 traits of good writing to assess students’ writing and examined samples of student’s writing to determine the type of errors and the appropriate method of responding to student’s writing.
